Description

DH Renewables provide pre-assembly, main assembly, commissioning, troubleshooting and service, including all statutory inspection works on all wind turbine manufacturers and models. We operate in the UK, Europe and in Asia. Due to new contracts we are looking to bring on board 2 Authorised Technician to work on contracts throughout the UK  for initially 6 weeks but with the potential to be until November 2023.
The main purpose of the role would be to work in a team of 4 who will carry out retrofit of YAW ladders on turbines throughout the UK.
The successful candidates will be an Authorised Technician on SGRE 3.6 turbines.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as Authorised Technician (AT) Level
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • GWO certifications
  • Advanced First Aid & Advanced rescue are distinct advantage
  • Medical & Chester step
  • Skyman Lift trained
  • Nacelle crane ticket Hiab or Palfinger
  • Excellent health and safety awareness and the ability to work at heights
  • A flexible approach

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Area Manager, the AT will be responsible for:
  • Carrying out retrofit of YAW ladder on wind turbines
  • The installation and retrofitting of key components - mechanical, electrical and hydraulic
  • Generating detailed reports on the work completed
  • Covering multiple sites in there UK - working on Siemens 3.6 Turbines
