Overview
DH Renewables provide pre-assembly, main assembly, commissioning, troubleshooting and service, including all statutory inspection works on all wind turbine manufacturers and models. Due to significant growth, we have opportunities for a number of Lifting/Crane Supervisor to join our growing team. (Permanent or Contract considered)

The role
Working as part of a growing team, operating 6 days per week on a varied rota depending on site, you will oversee the lifting operations of Wind Turbine Installation projects in the UK, Europe and further afield.
Reporting to the Installation Lead, you will oversee the full lift process.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications
  • CPCS Lifting/Crane Supervisor (Ideally Blue card but Red will be considered)
  • GWO
  • BST
  • BTT
  • CCNSG
  • Oil & Gas / Renewable UK medical & Chester Step
  • SGRE - SGTT
  • 2 years’ Crane Supervisory experience in the wind industry

Desirable Qualifications
  • Some or all of the following certificates/qualifications are advantageous:
  • Vestas Level C or Level D
  • Nordex – Experience on Delta 4K model
  • Driving license preferred with maximum 6 points on license

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Understand and plan lifts
  • Set up crane as per lifting drawings
  • Pre- checks of lifting tackle
  • Pre lift checks that rigging has been followed as per drawings
  • Monitor and control lifting area
  • Ensure correct documentation is in place prior to lift
  • Report on installation process to Installation Lead
  • Participation in risk assessments
  • Ensuring time optimisation and safety are maintained
